Employees Guide to Using Express Evaluations in Microsoft Teams

The Express Evaluations Microsoft app allows employees to access Express Evaluations directly within Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft 365. Once opened in Teams, employees can complete evaluations, access goals, view feedback, and use other Express Evaluations features without opening a separate browser window.

The app works directly inside Microsoft Teams, making it easier to access Express Evaluations alongside your normal daily workflow.

Open the Express Evaluations App in Microsoft Teams

Before employees can use the app, it must first be deployed by your organization’s Microsoft Administrator.

1. Open Microsoft Teams.
2. Select Apps from the lower-left navigation menu.
3. Search for Express Evaluations.

If your organization already deployed the app, it may appear under Added by your org.

4. Select Open.

5. Sign in to your Express Evaluations account if prompted.

Once opened, the Express Evaluations app will appear in the left navigation menu within Microsoft Teams.

Pin the App in Microsoft Teams

Employees can pin the Express Evaluations app to keep it visible in the Microsoft Teams navigation menu.

1. Locate the Express Evaluations app icon in the left navigation menu.
2. Right-click the app icon.
3. Select Pin.

The app will remain pinned in the left navigation menu for easier access.

Access Express Evaluations Within Microsoft

After opening the app, employees can use Express Evaluations directly within Microsoft Teams.

Users can:

• Complete evaluations
• Access goals
• View feedback
• Use coaching and recognition features
• Access other Express Evaluations tools available to them

The platform opens directly within Microsoft Teams instead of opening a separate browser window.

The Express Evaluations app also becomes available within Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365.

Important:

• Your organization’s Microsoft Administrator must deploy the app before employees can access it.
• Employees will need to sign in to Express Evaluations when they open the app.
• Opening the app in Microsoft Teams also activates the app within Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365.
• The Microsoft app provides the same functionality available on the standard Express Evaluations website.
